Introduction
Rachael is an associate principal at Applied Marketing Science. She helps companies use research and insights to create more successful products, services and customer experiences. She has significant experience in consumer, medical and B2B markets.
In her role at AMS, Rachael is involved with overseeing all aspects of the research projects, including exploratory research, survey design, survey fielding, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and report development. She has experience managing both domestic and international research engagements and has led some of AMS’s most complex qualitative projects. Rachael has also been instrumental in developing AMS’s machine learning methodology.
Rachael enjoys helping companies understand ways to better serve their customers and uncovering meaningful insights that impact their business strategy. Rachael was a honoree on the 2023 GreenBook Future List, recognizing her as an emerging leader in the insights community.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling, having recently visited Asia, Africa and Europe.
Rachael holds a B.S. in Marketing from Providence College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration concentrated in Management from Bentley University, graduating with High Distinction.

Driving Next Generation RV Design
Nick Davis of Winnebago Industries joins Rachael Settipani and Patty Yanes to explore how Winnebago and AMS used several unconventional techniques, including Machine Learning and AI, to gain important insights to inform innovative RV designs that utilize advanced technology. Session attendees will learn how they utilized opportunistic research occasions and existing data from both internal and external sources, such as social media and call center records, to take a systematic approach to gathering customer needs. Machine learning has offered critical, game-changing new insights to develop the next generation of advanced RVs.
