Jared Martinez is a member of the Insights for Innovation practice at Applied Marketing Science. As an analyst, Jared supports a variety of client engagements—drafting and fielding surveys, conducting interviews, analyzing results, providing data-driven recommendations, and preparing final reports and presentations.
Prior to AMS, Jared was a product specialist with the online merchandising team at Staples, Inc. where he focused on analyzing sales data and buying patterns to optimize product content and customer engagement on staples.com. Previously, he was a tech team supervisor with Stapes Retail.
Jared realized his passion for research and analytics as an undergraduate at St. Joseph’s University where he conceived, designed and fielded a two-year honors study calling for increased education to improve prosecutorial success specific to human trafficking. Following graduation, Jared worked as a research assistant analyzing interrogation techniques employed by correctional officers within a county-jail setting.
When he’s not working, Jared is likely satisfying his innate curiosity by exploring new places on his motorcycle, devising new workouts at the gym, or finding new Mexican restaurants anywhere he can. A member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Kappa Delta honors societies, Jared graduated cum laude from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a B.S. in criminal justice and psychology.
